After intensive preparations, a new site opened in Bucharest, the capital of Romania, at the beginning of January. The drive and automation spe-cialist based in Bruchsal, Germany, is now present in 56 countries worldwide.
With a population of almost 20 million, Romania is the sixth largest country in the European Union and the most important market in south-eastern Europe. Its dynamically growing economy and favorable location conditions for companies make the country one of the most interesting hotspots for investors in Europe. The technological development of industry in the country is also progressing rapidly - a potential that SEW-EURODRIVE has also recognized.
